Challenge
In shipping operations, packing aids, workpiece geometries, and packaging tasks change on a regular basis. Fixed workstations often require frequent retooling, packing aids are temporarily secured, and the working height cannot be adapted to different tasks. This leads to unnecessary interruptions in the shipping process, makes material handling more difficult, and places additional strain on employees due to unfavorable working postures.

Realisation
The modular shipping workstation combines a manually operated hydraulic lifting column with a vice for the quick and secure fixation of various packing aids, such as wooden slats or strips. The lifting column allows the working and clamping height to be easily adjusted to suit the specific task. Thanks to the cart module, the workstation can be flexibly used throughout the shipping area, stored in a space-saving manner when not in use, and quickly repositioned with stable support whenever required.
